We adore this time of year. There’s a shift in décor, a slight weather change and so many fun community events. Whether you want to peruse a market or get crafty with the family, there are a variety of options this month. Here are a few of our favorites.

Hillsborough River State Park “Haunted Woods”

Date: October 20-21 from 6:00pm-10:00pm

Hillsborough River State Park is introducing Enchanted Woods. A kid-friendly, not-so-scary event with games, food, a scare trail, music and costume contest.

2nd Sunday Harvest Market at The Grove

Date: October 22 from 10:00am-2:00pm

Location: 6105 Wesley Grove Blvd., Wesley Chapel, FL

Peruse more than 70 vendors including artists, artisans, makers and crafters.

Wesley Chapel Fall Festival and Carnival

Date: Saturday October 28 and Sunday October 29

Location: Tampa Premium Outlets, 2300 Grand Cypress Drive Lutz, FL 33559

19th Annual Wesley Chapel Fall Festival, Food Truck Rally, and Carnival! There will be a pumpkin patch supporting charity, live music, community performance and the largest Trunk or Treat experience in the area.

Halloween Howl & Wizard Fest

Date: October 28 from 11-3 and 5-9 p.m.

Location: 38116 5th Ave, Zephyrhills, FL 33524

Food, scavenger hunt and raffles from 11a.m.-3p.m. at the free Wizard Fest. Then, join the afternoon Halloween Howl from 5-9 p.m. featuring a haunted house, games, entertainment, and of course tasty treats!
